The dream is a little dated so it doesn’t have all of the amenities but what they have is great! Thoroughly enjoyed the spa services. Nice staff. This ship only has two pools and they were so crowded it was kind of gross to even think about getting into them.

The carnival dream rock band is impeccable. High-quality musicians and vocal skills. We were blown away by the talent.

Overall really good staff and they mostly appear to be happy in their professions. Many go out of their way to take care of customers and always had a smile on their face.
Ship Quality

The carnival dream is dated. It had a refresh recently but they didn’t go far enough. Our room had to be cleaned when we went into it because they didn’t do a great job but the service after that was very good. Like everything else not enough staff is probably the problem. We decided to have grace and understanding.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was a typical carnival cabin. It was really nice being close to the spa where we had access to their gigantic world pool and steam rooms.
It’s Galveston. Nothing special. The hotels are generally wore down and not very nice. We stayed at a Holiday Inn express that was filthy. Literally disgusting.
This is my all-time favorite place to visit. If I had it my way the cruise would go here every single day. Baby powder sand and the water is like a swimming pool. Simply amazing.
