Review summary

We had a great time on Carnival Dream. The ship rocked a little more than I’m used to, not sure if it was the ship or the Gulf area. I would definitely Cruise this itinerary and ship again!

There was a motorcycle event that weekend across from cruise terminal which slowed things down.

The MDR wasn’t the best this cruise, but all the other eateries were good.

There were a lot of places to lay out around the ship, but I didn’t think the spas were too warm.

All the shows we attended were good, including Ben at the Piano Bar.

Noordam was the best room steward we had in the last 3 cruises. We did not come across a bad bartender or wait time for a drink.

Ship Quality

Layout and common areas were pretty clean. Some of the elevators needed some attention with broken glass and horrible smells.

I loved how our room was set up with 3 of us sharing a room. The 2 lower beds were against the wall and 2 nightstands were in the middle to give us more room. One overhead bed was used which we put up each day so it wasn’t in our way.

Went to Mr. Sanchos which was fun. I would recommend wearing water shoes since it was a little rocky in the ocean where are lounge chairs were at.

We did the Mayapan Ruins, Cenote and Lazy River excursion with Carnival. This excursion was amazing! Even the lunch they served us was really good! I highly recommend this excursion!
