So far this is my favorite Carnival ship. Loved the design and it kept the crowds spread out. Ship had minor cosmetic issues in many places when we sailed (eg cracked mirror in elevator) it has had a dry dock so hoping these were addressed. Sailing on this ship again in 2025.

I did not care for this port. We took the bus to the market and got on a city tour bus (double deck) to see what we wanted to do. Beach had too my seaweed and the city did not seem safe. Went back to the ship and enjoyed the ship.

Thanks for your viewpoint. Mérida/Progreso is one of the safest cities/areas in the entire country of Mexico and the entire USA. It ranks #3 actually in North America in the low crime category. A lot of people think all of Mexico is dangerous. I can't recall which city is #2 but Quebec City ranks at #1 for the safest city.

Carnival Dream - best cruise director

November 30, 2019 Was my first cruise so didn’t know what to expect. Over all it was fun and relaxing which is what I was hoping to get out of it. All ready planning to go on another one
