Review summary

Was less than expected from Carnival. From ship to staff. Will not sail again on the Dream.

Embarkation

Have a 3 as it was mixed. Porters helping with luggage lacked in numbers and had to wait some were rude. Inside terminal staff was delightful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Food was consistently cool to cold in temperature. Fries at deli were cold and should not have been served. Catfish tasted good but was cold. This continued throughout the whole cruise from buffet. Dining rooms were good.

Onboard Activities

Typical of other cruises. We did limited so this is kind of a push.

Service and Staff

Staff appeared to not be as happy as when we’ve been on the Vista or Breeze. Dining staff seemed to always be getting instructed to do something even if they were talking with guests and nothing really needed to be done. Overall the staff did not have the fun attitudes that we’ve had on other Carnival cruises. Was a little disappointing as we do enjoy speaking to staff and getting to know them a little bit we did not want to get anyone in trouble so kept chit chat to a minimum. Where were the smiles? Reported cabin next to ours to be smoking on Their balcony and nothing was done. Even took a picture of the wine glass full of cigarette butts. Guess they do t care about their own rules. Very disappointing!

Ship Quality

Not sure of age of the ship or last make over but the red theme was very tense and did not provide relaxation. I was always feeling on edge.

Ship tip

Pixels is a NIGHTMARE. No digital option. System they use is a train wreck and we never found all our pics that were taken. They have to do like Breeze and Vista.

You sound like a very unhappy person overall. Have sailed 15 times with Carnival and twice on the Dream. Love the Dream and Carnival. Sorry you are such a negative person.

People complain way to much! You vacation is what you make of it. Just relax and enjoy it, it's better than being at work!
