Review summary

I booked in April and traveled in August. I bought the protection plan for peace of mind. I did not get a drink package. At the end of our trip we added our drinks and it didn't come close to the package charge they were offering for one person. We booked 2 rooms with one adult in each room in case one adult wanted to buy one then the other wasn't obligated to buy it aswell. If 2 adults share a room, both adults have to purchase a drink package. Deck 9 is awesome! Great balcony view! We had 2 kids traveling with us & my 20 yr old sister. My friend and her family were just down the hall from us. Don't pack towels, carnival let's you take theirs off the ship but must return or they'll charhe you $22. Elegant night is a must! Over dress! I loved that I could do laundry. It didn't take long at all. Quick machines. Take water shoes for port days! I would cruise again!

Music was great! Plenty of seats to sit down and enjoy the shows.

Children's Programs

They did not go to kid clubs but enjoyed the shows at the Encore. Especially 80's night. They enjoyed the staff dancing at formal sit down dinners. The movies at night on the big screen were also a favorite of theirs

Imade & Nongraken were the best servers I believe! Always smiling and paying attention to detail. Even interacting with my kids!

Ship Quality

The restroom design and color seemed very outdated. Very bland colors. The entire ship was very clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

Johnathan always kept the room clean, towel animals were beautiful! Interior rooms were smaller than the picture depicted. Lots of closet space. Enjoyed the ability to adjust thermostat.

Ship tip

Drink package did not seem to add up. Very over priced. Do not buy. Both our drinks did not add up to 1 drink package.

Yes outside of carnival. It was cheaper. We are very fluent in spanish so we ventured away from the busiest areas and went to a private beach club called Aquarium beach club.

I got the drink package for the cruise we're taking next week and I plan to drink all 15 of them throughout the day. But that's because we'll be without children and I'll be drinking all day long! Lol. The prices of the drinks definitely makes it worth it if you're a drinker!

Drink package does include non alcoholic beverages, water, specialty coffee and soda. It was a good package for us.
