The Galveston gangway was struck by lighting just over a week ago and due to the Engineering Company being overseas and just arriving yesterday the problem has yet be be resolved but they are working on it. The boarding process is flawless in this terminal but has no control over Mother Nature.

Thank you for the review! Carnival has something called faster to the fun, where you get priority embarkation and debarkation. There are a limited number, and you find it under excursions for the home port. I will not sail without it! I just want to highlight this here for all the people who say faster to the fun is not worth it - you can have a quick embarkation 10 times, and then you get days like this! LOL so sorry for your misery! We have been through that!
