In review, like I said earlier, I'm just not a cruise person. I like my space and there just wasn't any. There are people who take multiple cruises a year, but it's just not my cup of tea.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The main dining room food was fine. The buffet was ok for breakfast, but lunch and dinner were subpar. Good thing we had the option of eating at a few other places. Loved Guy's BBQ restaurant and the burger place. Didn't try the pizza so don't know. We tried the Lido buffet for dinner one night and it was so awful we threw it away and went to the Main dining room.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Trivia activities were ok. Not as fun as I'd hoped. The pools were very crowded, but it was Spring Break so I expected that. The fitness center was pretty nice. My 12 year old daughter was pretty bored on the ship for most of the time because she didn't like any of the activities.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Once again, my daughter didn't care for most of the shows on the ship. She wanted to leave about 10 minutes into the shows. They kept me and my wife's attention. The African American lady who sang was awesome. The other singers were ok.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff is very welcoming and always say hello to you when you pass them in the hall. They always have a smile on their faces. Our room steward went out of his way to help us when my daughter had an accident in the room one day. We'll just say she had feminine issues. Our waiters and waitresses were always very nice.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
They need more pools or less people on board. It was very crowded. To be as crowded as it was, the ship stayed very clean. There was always someone walking around sweeping, mopping, picking up used plates and glasses, etc.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
I've come to find out that I'm just not a cruise person. I like my space in the room and there just isn't any room in the staterooms. I know they do this to cram as many people on board as possible, but I just don't like it. The beds are very firm. I woke up each morning with my back hurting. The bathrooms are also too small. I barely fit in the shower and I'm 5'10', 180 lbs. The rooms were clean though. I just don't like being cramped.
Ship tip
Don't go on Spring Break. It's too crowded. Also, be prepared for a small room.
We took a taxi to Hard Rock Hotel and were allowed to use their beach for a couple of hours before we had to be back at the port. We booked a zipline tour thru Carnival and it was ok. I've ziplined many times and this one is average at best.
The weather was too rough on the water for us to transfer from the ship to a water taxi. We didn't even get to go to Grand Cayman. Biggest bummer of the cruise.
Port is very nice with shops right off the pier. People are not pushy. We booked our own excursion (not thru Carnival) to Chanakaab National Park where my wife and daughter swam with the dolphins. This was the highlight of the trip. We also hung out on the beach after that. They have different attractions you can visit like alligator pits, sea lion show, snorkling, ziplining, etc.
We chose the early disembarkation and carried our own luggage off the ship. This was a lot faster than checking our baggage as we got to our car around 8am. Had we checked our bags we wouldn't have left until 10am. We wanted to get home. Had a 7 hour drive.
