Review summary

We enjoyed our time on the boat, it was a great vacation. Everybody did their part to make sure the fun didn't stop. I think it's unfortunate that we had issues with smells but it was encouraging to stay busy on the ship. I loved the fitness center, it didn't seem to ever close so I was able to squeeze in a few work outs to not feel so bad about all of the decadence. Bob at the Piano Bar was a highlight! I highly recommend checking him out any night on board it's open. The arcade was a blast and had some great new games in it I'd never seen before. There was good stuff at all of the ports, we had a blast there were some things we could have done better. We'll definitely be doing Roatan & Costa Maya differently next time even though we enjoyed them both over all. Cozumel is always a blast, 3 trips so far and I've still yet to have a bad time. Probably my favorite port so far. The cherry on this cruise was the night in New Orleans we had before the cruise launched. Great destination! What a wonderful way to start our vacation!

The area around our room and in our room suffered from a real 'farty' smell. It wasn't anything the house keeping could act on as it turned out to be the HVAC system was cycling air from the stack and vent hoods back into the air supply. So if booking this room again I'd really stay away from this whole area of the ship. It was like somebody just dueced in our room every time we walked in. House keeping did an outstanding job of coming by every couple of hours and spraying to combat the odor. But when the ship was moving at high speeds or the kitchens were busy our room was no place to be.

Ship tip

Enjoy the sushi on board!

The vendors were relentless, the water smelled like sewage. The pictures made it look like a paradise but the places we went were really nasty. Barefoot Beach Club was our stop and it was sketchy as hell. Next time we go back we'll just be sticking to the Lost Mayan Kingdom waterpark at the port.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Highly recommend you check out the Roatan Rum Company if you are here. You can customize your own flavors of rum, and bring it back to the ship with you. Also the rum cakes are great! We took a cab to visit the sloths and it was a fun cheap day. We plan on coming back to spend more time at the Island on the port, it was where the party was at all day long.

Belize City, Belize Did not visit port

We avoided this stop on our trip because we were not interested in any of the excursions and the port was reportedly just a cage with diamond stores inside it. With about a 2 hour ferry ride round trip to see that we passed.
