Review summary

This was an excellent first cruise. Seven days to explore 3 countries and taste the most delicious foods, on board and off. There was something spectacular about the photos I had taken and the sights we visited. A first cruise thumbs up!

Food and Dining

The Carnival Dream was nothing less then an exquisite adventure. Our dining experience was fabulous, the atmosphere of the staff and chefs made us feel like royalty. Great food option at both the buffet and specialty dining areas.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Carnival Dream is enormous. We walked around for hours within the first few days and did every activity possible within our 7 day cruise, but felt as if we could of done more and seen more! The entertainment on board is excellent! Overall, a memorable experience.

The Cherry on Top

5 out of 5

The Cherry on Top is one my absolute favorite place to get a pick me up sugary treat. It's also where you can order chocolate covered strawberries with a nice note to have sent to a friends room or sent to our own, to give to your spouse. It's such a special treat to have The Cherry on Top aboard ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin steward was wonderful, our room was very clean. The only issue I had was being inside an interior space. It was my first cruise and I hadn't packed or was prepared for staying in a very dark space. It forced me to sleep in a lot and miss a good chunk of our cruise ports throughout the cruise agenda.

I’m cruising on the Dream, November 25, 2018, for the 2nd time. I’m looking forward to it. I’ve been on the Magic and the Breeze 3x. I can’t remember what the Dream looks like on the inside. I can’t wait!

Beautiful decorations on Christmas but that’s about it. Nothing will stop the Dream from going to Galveston. But chances are She will be back on day.

Everyone who loves the Dream should contact Carnival and write John Heald. They are taking our wonderful Dream and sending her to Galveston. In return New Orleans is getting a much smaller Conquest class ship - Glory. Not fair.

Leaving on the Dream this Sunday the 23rd. Can’t wait. Our first experience was excellent and expect the 2nd cruise on the Dream will be as well.

My husband and I was on the Dream last year and we’re getting ready to set sail September 30th on the Dream. I’ve been on other ships and so far my favorite.
