Review summary
We enjoyed our Carnival cruise. We loved the piano bar- Joanne was the musician/entertainer and we loved her cheeky humor and it was a fabulous way to spend those evening hours. Sea Day brunch was great, the rest of the meals are so so. The dining room experience for our group of 6 took longer than we cared for but they are servicing a ton of people. We went in the summer and the pools were over crowded so we just went to the spa instead and paid extra but got to hang out in the thermal pool and wet and dry saunas. It was nice to have that little extra. I don't like being shoulder to shoulder with people in the pools on the Lido Deck. I wish the photo packages were still around- I do feel they are kind of pricey on their photos and we only had one option or just go complete a la carte. Want to try a less kid friendly cruise line next, but with that said- the kids were well behaved and there were not issues... maybe I chose the wrong wording... a more mature crowd would be good for us next time. No regrets and would cruise Carnival and on the Dream again in a heartbeat.Embarkation

Ship tip
Decor is dated, but it's a great ship! If the pools are too full for your liking- go to the SPA!!! Thermal tubs and steam rooms are amazing.
