Our first cruise.. we were charged for the spa twice, with a 2 hour window between charges, I’m glad I checked the statement because we would have been charged twice for couples massage.

Review summary

Our first cruise, honeymoon trip. We were charged twice for couples spa. With 2 hours between charges. The watches that were sold at a 75% discounted rate, were originally marked up way too high. Being you could get them online for half the discounted price. (We returned the watches) the sushi was okay. Our first excursion was packed with people. Open bar.. was going good until people started ordering numerous drinks at a time and we had to wait 2 hours for tacos. We ended up leaving early. Improvement or new rules with that excursion could be done. The additional bank holds were very confusing, but we got that worked out. The water coming down into the hall not far from our room was disturbing considering we didn’t know what was going on and we were on a boat in open water, we heard from word of mouth that a pipe busted. It was a nice get away, but don’t think we will be adventuring on another.

It was nice but our excursion wasn’t what expected. The amount of people tools away from relaxation. Open bar... it took for ever to get our drinks due to so many people ordering 5 drinks at a time. It would be better for a server only to bring drinks to people and not have a crowd around the bar with unlimited amount of drinks per order. Limit the amount of drinks that can be gotten for a certain amount of time maybe would help.

The people the was on the ship when th pipe busted that did get infected got all there money back plus 50% discount on there next cruise. They replaced the carpet the same day sorry to hear you had a bad episode on you're first cruise but also it is what you make it dont give up try again.

Didn't the people that was on the deck with the water problem receive all their money back and 50% off their next cruise. I love carnival they have always taken very good care of me and my family the last 3 times we have traveled with them

Sorry your cruise was so disappointing. I will take first cruise June 17. But I agree with others. Don’t give up without at least trying once more. Be it Carnival or not. Congratulations also.

Im sorry to hear that ur 1st cruise wasnt everything. Trust me i felt the same way, i was on NCL ship it was only 5 days but by day 4 i was ready to bounce and never cruise again. Then a family friend suggested we cruise with them on Carnival and they would show me how to cruise. Im glad to say i loved my 1st carnival cruise 7days hated when it ended. Ive been on the dream and returning in Oct. I even went back on a NCL cruise and i loved that 1. I say all that to say dont give up, had i done so i would b missing out cuz now i want to cruise EVERY time i take vacay. Things happen, even on dry land on destinations, rental cars, delayed flights etc. We dont give up on those we try again.

Aw, don’t give up that easy. I used the Dream for my 1st cruise and loved it. However, I would have freaked out over the water leek. I used my debit card this last cruise, but after they explained the hold I was ok with it. The water leek could have happened on any boat, your home as well, just scary, I know.

ABSOLUTELY wonderful!!! Cozumel plus was even better than anticipated!!

Had a wonderfull time with all the islands until we got to Cozumel where we did the swim with the dolphines adventure, We found it to be way over priced and felt like the cruise line kind of through us to the wolfs, Save your money on this one
