The cruise was ok. It probably would have been better if everyone didn’t start coming down with the flu. They need to have staff stand at every food station and make sure each person wash and sanitize their hands before going to the buffet or ice cream stations

Well it was ok I guess. My husband and I left our birth certificate at home but brought the kids so everything was a bit frustrating for us. I feel it should be a better way to fix this problem whenever issues like that occur besides trying to find someone at home to get into your house to take a pic of it and send it to you.

The food in the dining room was horrible and that’s why we only ate in there twice because we thought maybe the second time would be better than the first time. But we enjoyed eating Guy’s Burgers and tacos but my son and I was the only ones who enjoyed eating the pizza. My oldest daughter the cheese on the pizza was disgusting I guess it’s because they use block cheese to make it but it was ok to me. The breakfast buffet was great!!! I enjoyed the omelette and French toast. All the deserts were horrible!!!
Onboard Activities

It was too cold to get in the pool although they did have people getting in there anyway which I’m pretty sure they’re somewhere with pneumonia right now. There wasn’t a rock climbing wall on our ship and it was always to windy/cool to enjoy the water slides because the water was super cold!!!
Entertainment

The comedy shows were the best!!! I went to see them every night!!! The Motown Rock show was ok but I didn’t understand how you do a Motown Rock show with only one African American person in it and I’m not saying that to be races but it’s the truth. The so called night club on there was not great at all.

My 7 and 9 year old went to Camp Ocean twice and never went back but my 7 year old ended up sick with the flu so that’s why she never went back. My 14yr and 19yr old felt as if they could have had more for them to do they did not like the night clubs maybe because they don’t play any good music such as up to date hip hop music. I mean who doesn’t listen to hip hop. You find all races listening to hip hop music these days than any other music. My 19yr old did enjoy going to the comedy shows with my husband and I since she’s over 18 but my 14yr old was always stuck in the room with nothing to do. She thought it was pretty boring but she did end up catching the flu after the 3rd day on there so that’s what had her in the room also.
Service and Staff

Our room steward was nice but he never cleaned the rooms. He just made the beds with the same sheets. They didn’t seem to be to friendly but more like “it’s my job to be nice but I really don’t want to be here” We had one waitress in the dining room area who seemed a bit frustrated.

Tge ships layout and design was ok. This was my first cruise so I’m not sure what better is yet.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin size was nice. It could use some updating and the bathroom shower doesn’t drain the water properly because it holds water in it the entire time you’re showering and my daughter took showers with there flip flops on and some of the water is still left in there afterwards. You would have to take a towel and soak it up out there.
I think they really took us to the poor side of Jamaica because the beach we went to was horrible but my kids did enjoy doin Dunn’s River Falls excursion butvthe beach water was not nice like I thought it would be. Not like I’ve seen on tv shows so next time they need to take us on the beautiful side of Jamaica
Grand Cayman was absolutely beautiful but we went to the 7 mike beach which was very nice but the waves was pretty rough this day so the kids had to be really careful where they played atvon the beach. They did have a pool but it was only for 18 and up so my younger kids were very upset
It wasn’t bad. We chose the option to have our bags delivered to the terminal and wait for our zone number to be called so we a breakfast on Lido deck and hung out in there until our number was called
Who goes on vacation without the right documentation it's a wonder you got off so light ...they had every right to detain you ... your own fault no sympathy here ....
They have sanitizing machines everywhere. Soap and water in all bathrooms. I hope this lady stays home and let’s the rest of us just have a great time in the future. The Dream is great!!!!😎😎
Drivers license is your second. With your BC. Passport is the only thing you need if you have the passport book. Not the card. You will need your driver's license on the cruise with you. They say to take them
There is an easy fix for missing documents - don't. You are leaving the country, they have to enforce immigration laws. Now you know so the next one will be easier.
The Dream is one of our favorite ships. As far as being prepared.....the next one will go a lot smoother. February is a good time to go too, still cheap rates and a little warmer.
