As the ship name aptly implies. It was a Dream. One I wish I could stay in. Although the itinerary was changed the cruise was a wonderful experience and the crew made sure that everyone experienced their dream.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Being my first cruise I was not sure what to expect. The parking in New Orleans for cruise passengers was great. At the ship some were complaining about the long lines but for me it was not bad and gave my wife and I a chance to make some new acquaintances and when time to board came it was quick and organized.

Food and Dining

Never tasted a bad meal. Even tries some new items and menus. The Lido deck food was delicious, the dining room dinners were perfect and cooked just as ordered. The staff was phenomenal. Had breakfast at the buffet every day. They even had grits!!
Onboard Activities

The Lido Deck was the happening place, and man was it a blast. We were on the 12th deck so the walk to Lido and Serenity decks was short. Loved the atmosphere and service on each.
Entertainment

Wonderful, wonderful. There are shows for most every taste and age. The encore stage was the best.
Children's Programs
No children.
Service and Staff

No way to describe the excellent service from every crew member we encountered.
Ship Quality

Layout was great for moving around the ship. Layout maps everywhere. I would get up at sunrise each morning and the crew members were already cleaning and preparing for the day.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed slept like a cloud, good room to move but not to dance. Lol. Closet and storage was great for the 2 of us. Had no cleanliness issues.
Glad the Dream treated you so nicely. Good thing Carnival does not name their ships after disasters or scary topics. Imagine how terrified some folks might be on the Canival Clown.
