Review summary

This was my husband and my first cruise. We really enjoyed our time (even though we chose a week when school was out...lots of kids and teens onboard) together. Food was wonderful, our waiters were great and our room attendant, Ida, was wonderful and accommodating. Our room was always nicely kept clean and we enjoyed our towel buddies each day! Layout of the ship took a little getting used to, but once we figured it out, we maneuvered around great. Everything was clean and the workers were all very friendly.

We dined in the Scarlett Restaurant each night. Beautiful atmosphere. Really enjoyed our food, wait staff and fun "Showtime" during the meal! Very festive!!!

Great wait staff. Loved how they recognized us by name and even our drink orders each evening. How do they do that?!?!?! 😊 Ida was awesome! Always very friendly and accommodating to whatever need we had. He, too, greeted us by name each time he saw us. Very impressive. 😊

Ship Quality

Very clean and well kept. My husband and I commented on how nice it was seeing the workers sand and restain each bench by the pools on debarkment day. Impressive.

Nice layout. Always kept clean and tidy - housekeeping. Only thing I would change would be the shower being glassed in to prevent water coming onto the bathroom floor during a shower.

Carnival is less formal than some lines but many ladies dress up as do the men. The only thing I hate is when some moron comes to dinner wearing a hat and he keeps it on all during dinner!!!!!Where were they taught to do that??

I got off the Dream on Sunday. A few people wore formal clothes but more wore Sunday clothes. Long sleeved shirt, pants, and the for most men. Shirt with collar and long pants for boys and Sunday dresses for women. Some were less dresses up especially on the 2nd formal night.
