Review summary

This was our 5th time on the Dream and by far our least favorite of them all. The biggest draw to the dream has always been The Black Jack Band in Ocean Plaza every night. carnival is doing away with bands like them and they were forced to downsize to just a country duo. Jimmy and Mel are still awesome, but just not the same. We don't like Carnival's "show bands", and we are not alone. I doubt we ever sail with Carnival again.

I've sailed with several different companies and like it. If you're not happy with Carnival try someone else. They all cater to different crowds. Sounds like it's definitely time for a change for you. ð

nopacrat...thats telling supposedly adults to be adults and allow ppl to express themselves on THEIR post. just because someone dislikes something about carnival doesn't mean it's affirmative attack mode. but if you wanna call it that so be it....all you're doing is deflecting. I stand by what I said. ..so now what?

wow....ppl really get their thongs up their arses when ppl post their opinions. I really can't understand why....unless you're a carnival employee? invested stock in the company? sheesh...yall really need to get a grip and grow t.f up....smh

I so loved the Black Jack band. Wish they would reconsider. It that will not make me leave Carnival. I love cruising!!

if you didn't participate or see any of the shows the Cruise Director, Chris Williams, did... then you missed out...he makes the whole cruise...can't wait to sail in 2018..

Wow, how sad that a band being or not being there would make or break your cruise. Sorry you were so miserable. There have been bands I've liked and not liked over the years, but nothing would make me not love my Carnival cruises!

ByeBye!! If the only reason you sail with Carnival is the Black Jack band you are missing so much. Carnival has the best staff in the industry. Many different food venues and much more.. WOW!! Never sail with Carnival again. Once more!!!!!ByeBye ðð
