Review summary

My favorite part, was not having to cook, for my family of 5, for a week!

I do however, wish there would have been more super kid friendly food items.  chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, grapes, etc.  The pasta bar was great for lunch, but, it was closed for dinner.  The pizza bar was great for adults, but I could not get the kids to eat it.  So, it was a challenge to get my younger kids to eat anything decent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We mainly had Imade and Edi as our servers for dinner, in the Scarlet room. They both were simply amazing. Very efficient, professional, and super friendly. They definitely made the dining experience awesome!

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Evening shows were great for the whole family. My young kids, teenager, and us parents really enjoyed.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
I can't give a fair opinion on this, because my kids refused to attend the programs. However, we did take a tour, and I loved that the parents are given a phone, to be contacted if needed. That is wonderful. For my 6 year old, I would've liked to have seen more than just electronics in the room. The younger room had climbing areas, books, games, etc. Vacation is a time for us to break away from electronic entertainment, so I was a bit bummed to see electronics the central of that group.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were super friendly. The kids LOVED Wassanna. She was so fun and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was ALWAYS clean and pleasant looking. My biggest complaint here is smoking. Ugh. Even though it is only allowed in certain areas, the smell certainly was not contained to those areas. It is a very nauseating smell, and I hate that myself and kids were exposed to secondhand smoke, even when avoiding those smoking specific areas. You should really consider making it a smoke free ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I absolutely loved the layout of the room. I had to share it with my kids, and I was pleasantly surprised at how functional it was for all of us. Our room steward was Ida, and he was awesome. He went out of his way to accommodate us.

Ship tip

Do not bring jeans. Stick to yoga pants. The food is always so tempting...your jeans will not fit you by the time you go home.
