I HAVE BEEN ON 30 CRUISES IN THE PAST. THIS ONE HAS A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO COME TO AN DECENT EXPERIANCE. FIRST SMALL PORTIONS AND LOUSY WAIT STAFF IN THE MAIN DINING ROOMS. THE ONLY WAY TO GET A DECENT MEAL IS TO FORK OVER $90.00 TO GET A GOOD DINNER. AFTER PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THE ENTERTAINMENT IS A JOKE. NO SHOWS, NO ACTS, LOUSY COMEDIANS, CARNIVAL, PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. IT WILL BE MY LAST TIME ON YOUR LINE. I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE YOU A CHANCE. SHAME ON YOU. DON'T SIGN UP FOR THE SHORE EXCURSIONS. JUST A WASTE OF MONEY. THE PORTS HAVE MANY THINGS TO DO ONCE YOU GET OFF SHIP. DON'T BOTHER WITH BELIZE. NOT WORTH THE EFFORT GETTING OFF. IT'S A DUMP.

Carnival Dream is an awesome ship been on 2 times going back on for the 3rd may 28th. Awesome staff members and awesome food. Shows might not always be the best but seems they are trying. I do hear they are getting new entertainment soon. Hope that helps out the shows some.

I had my first cruise on the Ecstasy in Sept of 16. while on this cruise I thought wow what a big ship needless to say we were on the smallest. I was blessed with an amazing staff. Yes there was some food I disliked but everyone has different tastes. I just found something I liked. there were 2 comedians on board that week one was hilarious the other mildly funny they both did 2 different shows I chose to go to his 2nd. we went to half-moon cay and then Nassau. At the port Nassau sucked so we went farther out in the city and it was beautiful. On our way back to Charleston a woman jumped overboard and we were made to sit at sea for 12 hrs. The crew stepped up their game to enlighten the tragedy that took place and make me and the other guests more comfortable. so the moral of this long rant is; I had some ups and downs on my cruise but when the down hit I found something else. it is what you make it and if you can get a better quality on another cruise or any vacation, that will give you all the perks you receive from carnival then by all means please go to RC. ... me I booked again the week we got off and I will be leaving on the Dream on April 23. bon-voyage fella!

I agree shows in main showroom are no good but I have fun in other areas like piano bar, also agree about Belize, I probably won't get off the ship on next cruise my favorite spot is the spa in the steam rooms and the heated tile loungers there

Royal Caribbean has great entertain, however it's about 250-300 more pp to end up below deck 3. We can cruise twice a yr with carnival opposed to once every two yrs with RC. As stated stop the negative, look for the positive instead. You have got to make your fun or stay home

Obviously nothing could make this person happy but the shows are terrible on every carnival ship. The Dream had better shows before drydock, but they still weren't great. I've been on 10 cruises all with carnival. Do other lines actually have better shows? Or are they all pretty much the same lame singing dancing cheesy things that carnival has? We always find so many other things to do, we go our whole cruise never setting foot into the main showroom.

I agree with the fact that the shows on the Dream are not so good I disagree with the food and wait staff being bad. They were both very good. I also went to Belize and did not do a shore excursion. So I really can't comment on the city. I don't think I will do an excursion there because you have to ride so far to get to where your going. Does anyone know if there is an excursion in Belize that is 20 minutes or less drive?

I hate it when people attribute the "dump" places to their bad time. have a little compassion and go spend your precious money to help the poor people trying to make a living in that "dump" you pretentious knob

probably somebody from another cruise line trying to get business.. we LOVE Carnival and will be going on the Dream soon, just got off the Splendor not long ago... the cruise like any vacation is only as good as you want it to be.

YOU ARE JUST A VERY UNHAPPY PERSON.. FROM THEWAY YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING, I DOUBT ANYTHING COULD MAKE YOU HAPPY. I HAVE BEEN ON THE DREAM 4 TIMES AND 68 CRUISES OVERALL. LOVE THE DREAM AND ALL OF THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR CARNIVAL...GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!ðððððð©
