Review summary

Favorite part was all the ports.  Also really enjoyed a lot of the activities happening like trivia, dive in movies, and shows.  I HATED that a lot of the activities were near smoking areas and I had to breathe in smoke while trying to enjoy myself.  There are FAR FAR too many smoking areas on a cruise ship that is supposed to be family friendly.  I was trying to watch a dive in movie on the starboard side of the pool (not even on the same deck as the smoking "section") and I had to cover my nose with my shirt so that I didn't have to breathe in smoke the entire time.  It honestly ruined the experience for me.  I also did not like that my daughter was breathing it all in too.  My husband's dad and uncle both passed away from lung cancer and both were non smokers, we were told by the oncologist taking care of my father-in-law that it very well could be hereditary.  I do not like that my children had to breathe in so much smoke while on a vacation, especially being that Carnival considers themselves to be a very family friendly cruise line.  Non smokers should be put ahead of smokers that are polluting the air of all of those who do not want to breathe in all that crap!

Too many of the activities were in Ocean Plaza which is SURROUNDED by the smoking section on deck 5 port side and the casino. The smoke in that area was horrendous!

Ship Quality

Far too many smoking "sections" that caused smokey air everywhere around the ship, I didn't even feel like I could get away from it ever.

Cabin / Stateroom

We absolutely loved our cabin, we had so much room for 5 of us. Loved all the closet space. The extra shower/tub was nice, but it would have made more sense to have 2 toilets instead of 2 sinks, that would have made it absolutely perfect.

Ship tip

First day of cruise for lunch go to Pasta Bella, no one really knows it's up there and it's really empty.
