Carnival should take a look at revamping the employee compensation package as the employees seemed disgruntled and overworked. The employees also seemed to be asking for tips in passive aggressive ways, this was disconcerting and lowered the onboard experience. There was other evidence of cost cutting in the cleanliness of the ship as well as worn chairs and stained furniture and bedding. The overall food quality also suffered. Over the last ten years there a continued dramatic reduction in quality that will lead us to look elsewhere for our cruise needs.

A crew member took food from a strawberry platter we had delivered to our room and the drink waiter in the scarlet dining room lied to us about the drinks we purchased only to be discovered that we were overcharged when reviewing our portfolio. Somehow an additional charge was added to our bill from the punchliner club for drinks we never ordered. These issues were resolved but left a bad taste.
Cabin / Stateroom

This room is nice but the bulk head door to the outside deck was near and people would open and close it after we had gone to bed causing a huge clanking noise. This interrupted our sleep consistently.
When debarking for excursions get there about half hour early to get of boat quickly.
