Review summary

My favorite parts of the cruise were the treelighting ceremony on the first night and the "snow" and caroling on Christmas Day.  I loved the excursions, but my husband and I noticed what seemed to be a shortage of staff in the restaurant, and high-end items such as lobster have been removed from the menu unless you are willing to pay an additional $20.  However, lobster was offered on Christmas night as part of the menu. Overall, it was a great experience!

Loved our excursion guide Chris (Krishna)! He joked with us all the way to and from our destination.

If you ask local tour guides what time something occurs, make sure to ask if that is "island time" or ship time! We missed our excursion---twice!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Although everything is supposed to be tax and duty free, we ended up being charged tax in Costa Maya, but we loved the experience there!

Cozumel, Mexico

There is so much to do in Cozumel, so plan your day carefully.
