Spa issues/ rude spa staff / lacking spa attendant / facilities

My suite room steward EDUARDO !!!!  was EXCELLENT the best part of the cruise second only by our Scarlett dining staff ARI !!!  and assistants.

after cruising multiple carnival and NCL and 1 Royal,  I have to say the Spa and Lido buffet was the worst experience and food quality.

I paid extra for Thermal suit use for the day, I and other passengers could not get assistance in the Spa,  the spa recept overcharged me and 2 hours and 21 minutes before we received the ice water in the meditation room after 4 guests notification and request if there was somewhere else to go and receive a glass of water, the staff just walked away...(sea day- monday 9/26)

Additionally my son, who received a birthday (9/24) spa gift card on 9/30 (port day) went to the spa on 10/1 (sea day) to purchase services was treated rudely as if we were "peons" and informed  the card expired 9/30.  I was attempting to buy products recommended by Mary the fabulous massage therapist and was ignored, and stared at after asking questions.  I was informed that I didnt possibly by elemis products at another spa? i have bought elemis products from carnival on 2 prior cruises and from another spa. I asked ingredients and was told Frangiapani flower! which is the name of the oil I was interested in purchasing.  Subsequently, myself, my daughter in law(1st cruise) and my son said thank you and walked away.  we were the ONLY patrons in the waiting area and 2  (1 blonde male and 1 female) were on computer and were rude and just staring at us and if we were inconveniencing their day.  They were not interested in providing a spa menu we requested so they lost about $300+ in spa services that day for 3 people.

I am very disappointed with the spa which i had experienced on multiple other ships with satisfaction. 

The buffet no longer has the special dining night with ice sculpture and could only try to locate coffee or tea that wasn't empty.  The food was quite bad not even up to take out on some occasions.

the scarlet dining seating dinners were excellent with excellent service and were our only options to receive a decent meal (did have a great sandwich from the aft 24 hr deli on the last sea day)

a bit outdated but clean and GREAT ROOM STEWARD who i tip extra every day over and above the automated gratuity as well as Massage therapist MARY she was great
