Review summary

This was our second cruise on the dream, we didn't like the changes that carnival has made with the cabin being cleaned or turn down service. We didn't see the cabin Steward until the last two days. The cabin was dirty when we checked into the room. We called but nothing was done. On the third day we had a chemical smell that filled the room and we called and they came to verify that there was a smell, later the brought fans to clear the smell out of the room. The food was good and the entertainment but the changes in the cabin service was not good,

Very dirty when we arrived. Hair on the bedding. Bathroom was dirty and had not been cleaned.

You can get your cabin done twice a day. Just tell steward that's what you want and BE NICE. Treat the steward with respect and they will be very accommodating.

They used to come twice a day, but the last several times have asked if we prefer morning or afternoon. We're early risers, so always ask for morning.

I've heard from others that they give you the option of morning, night, or both. Is this not the case? I've never had to choose before, what do you all prefer?

Once a day was good enough for us. Usually when we were out doing a shore excursion. When we went to dinner they would turn down the bed, leave the towel animal and the next days itinerary. We last cruised in 2015. People don't clean your hotel room twice a day?

We were asked if we wanted morning or evening. We chose evening and our stewards did a great job. Once a day is good enough for me.

You have to tell your cabin steward that you want twice daily servicing, otherwise they will just come once a day.

We have always had twice a day on our 21 carnival cruises. The only thing different is no more mints on the pillows at night.

We were on the Dream in March. We were offered either morning or evening service. I promptly told the steward that I was accustomed to twice a day service and he was very gracious and said ok. Twice a day is what we got. We tipped him extra on the last day.

Well if I get the bad service that you just described I will make my first trip ever to customer service desk to tell them remove the tips from my bill

No mam , I'm sure your cruise will be fantastic. We've been on 7 only had 1 that didn't work out. Chiggins enjoy to the fullest!
