Carnival Dream

7 Night Western Caribbean (New Orleans Roundtrip)

Sail date: December 27, 2015

Ship: Carnival Dream

Cabin type: Balcony

Cabin number: 10276

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Review summary

The night clubs allowed smoking in the them. Therefore we were not able to use them. Also the only place to watch a football game on the ship was the casino, witch allowed smoking. We will never go on another cruise that does not have a non--smoking common area to watch a sporting event. IE: "Carnival Dream"

I will do a lot more research about this non feature.

Ship tip

If you are a non smoker and love to dance don't take this ship. Even the bar next to the casino were there was dancing, one could smell the smoke coming from the casino.

I agree with you GaryHJH - they need to have a casino with no smoking - the smoke was so thick it was awful! There was a man next to me that had to leave because of the smoke ( he just had a by-pass 3 months ago!

We had a balcony room and could still smell smoke from someone smoking on their balcony. The no smoking policy doesn't stop any smoker from smoking on their balcony. They still smoke anywhere they can get away with it.

hate to say all but I believe all ships have cut their smoking policy to just allowing it in the Casino and 1 or 2 other places on the boat. they don't even allow smoking on your balcony anymore. does that keep people from smoking where they are not suppose to no but you can always say something.
