Carnival Dream Cruise Reviews - Q&A

My husband takes a lot of medication and I have it separated daily in containers. My question is: do I need to bring his actual bottles from the pharmacy? He had so many bottles and don’t want to take up more room. Thanks in advance

Nope. All of mine are separated in a morning/evening container. No issue. Just remember to put them in your carry on, just in case your big suitcase gets misplaced or delayed. Thanks

To be on the safe side, just take a photo of each of your prescriptions.... normally not checked anyway

If any of the pills are on the Schedule 2 list then it's best to bring just those in their original prescription container. That way if the CBP port dogs (or TSA if flying) hit on the controlled substance you will have on hand the fastest way to prove legitimacy.

I take quite a bit of meds and I've never had to bring the bottles. just have them separated in the daily containers. I also bring and extra container (1 week) filled, just in case

always bring a list of your meds, usually a printout from your doctors in case there is an emergency the medics know what to give you and there are no drugs that counteract with treatment.
