Carnival's site is very specific. if you are fully vaccinated and are eligible for the first booster but have not received it, testing is 2 days. if up to date, eligible and received booster, it is 3 days. check the site regularly since rules are changing almost weekly.

We sailed last month and 2 of our cruise companions had to retest at the port because they tested 3 days out, that being said, they were up to date , meaning they had both received there first and second vaccine in February which means they wouldn’t have been eligible for a booster yet, and they still made them retest which was very stressful to say the least. They said it should have been 2 days 🙄Either they need to clarify or they need to train the staff better about this issue. If you have just gotten vaccinated for the first time recently why wouldn’t you be able to test at 3 days, makes no sense. Also we had VeriFLY and all we had to do was show that and our boarding pass, another one of our cruise companions had to show everything on paper even though he had VeriFLY, needless to say he had the same staff member as our retested companions. 😵

It's 3 days out if you're boosted and 2 days if not. Just sailed the Dream last month and my wife and I took ours 3 days out we had no problems at check in, again we both have taken the booster.

2 days before departure day, no matter what- even if you’ve been vaccinated and boosted 10 x. We sail on a Saturday and so we’ll get tested on Thursday.

Three days if fully vaccinated and boosted. Two days if fully vaccinated but no booster. At least that’s what it was last week 🧚🏾🧜🏾♂️
