Small bills to tip extra to outstanding servers & other crew, or entertainers taking special requests on board. Cash for the casino otherwise you could be hit with cash advanced fees at the cage or tables. Definitely cash for in port use, too much card cloning by skimmers being done.

cash for on-board tipping,bar tips or waiter tips,port purchases and taxis if your excursion doesn't include transportation. We never use a CC in port.

In theory no, but tip the porters who take your bag before check-in. If you are a casino player, you can take cash or do room charges. For slots, there is no fee, so it is cheaper than an ATM.

We bring cash for porters, cabin Steward and the bartenders on the ship.
