Review summary
We were on the Carinval Destiny, there were 6 couples all with balconys so we were able to open up the dividers between the rooms to make one big balcony that was great, easlier then talking around the wall. The ship said that it had been refurbished but we couldn't fine any proof of that it was clean but every old looking. The dinning room is great because we had very good waiter, and the food was very good. very fast service. We had the early dinner hour and it left us a lot of time between the dinner and the shows that didn't start till 10:30 most nights, some nights that was just too much time with nothing to do so we ended up back in the room and then didn't feel like making the show.. Maybe more shows between the two dinner hours. All of the ports were great even the ones that we didn't have any shore trips planned because there was allway shops or town within walking distance of the ship, so we could still get off the ship to shop and then back on for a day in the sun by the pools. Over all we had a very good time and all the couples with us had a good time doing their own thing during the day and getting together at night.. Would do it again but need to try anough cruise line, to be able to conpare.Ports of call
Pros: the Lido deck and the food
Cons: the Shows
