great time

Carnival is indeed the fun ship. There is more to do and more fun activities then the other ships offer. I like the fact that they seat people together. You get to meet folks from all over. We made new friends and had a ball.
The ship is kept in great shape.

Pros: port of calls, entertainment in the dining room

Cons: buffet food

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Dominica
Whale watch was good. Take a jungle tour with one of the local guides.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
For snorkeling go to Sapphire beach. Much better then Coki. Pretty also.
Bridgetown, Barbados
The Malibu rum factory was interesting. Take a cab (10 bucks) or walk there (1 mile) Take the tour, then you can use the great beach on the grounds.

Do not go to Turner beach for snorkeling. Nothing there. It is a nice beach for soaking in the sun, though.
