Nice trip by ajpolivera

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Nice trip. Excellent crew and food. Cabin was kind of outdated and not as clean as preferred but it was ok in overall. Jacuzzis were or too hot or cold, not at right temperature, main pool was nice.

Best Cruise Ever by dmnrioss

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was a fabulous cruise. We got to enjoy 4 countries & they were all awesome. I compared excursions & booked them with Cheapcruise.com because they were cheaper than Carnival. We also received a $50 cash on board from them as well. The shows & comedy shows were great as well as the food. I also received gifts for my birthday for the spa. The one thing I would have done differently, would be getting a massage on the island instead of the ship if you have no excursions planned. Ship tries to sell you products, which becomes costly even if u got a great deal on the spa.  I would keep more cash in my bank account since you pay for everything on you ship card & take more single & five dollar bills for tips. Tipping is very big in the countries. My rep from Cheapcruise.com was also a huge help & was great.

6 Days of Food by dfong231

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I was on the Conquest during their slow season and before school began summer recess.  Ocho Rios, Georgetown and Cozumel had only 2-3 ships that day made the week pleasant.

Lines Guy's Burger Joint and Blue Iguana Catalina can be long at times, however it will be well worth it.  Food at the buffet is mediocre.

Carnival Conquest by jeffreylc4324

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Spent 8 nights on the southern Caribbean cruise.  Ports were great, guest relations was super and responsive, house keeping was excellent, etc.  The food was not as good this time around as I've experienced in the past so this is my reason for only four stars.

Zip Line Cruise by coolidge

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Both embarkation and debarkation took longer than other cruises we have taken. Guys hamburgers were good. All levels of service was very good. Comedy club was highlight of entertainment. Venue was packed and people were standing. Wish events started earlier as some on the ship are not night owls. Production shows not up to other ships. A couple of the ports were Carnival ports. If you were not a fan of going to the beach, not much choice on excursions. Nice gym with plenty of space. Would suggest more in cabin movies. Typical cruise ship. Nothing outstanding good or bad. Free ice cream. Wish all loyalty points from the parent company of Carnival transferred to other cruise lines owned by the parent company.

Wonderful cruise by cutshalljan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We took this cruise to celebrate our and our daughter and son-in-law's anniversaries, but Carnival only identifed their anniversery, not ours. We had a nice time anyway. The Tour on Grand Turk was OK, and I understand Carnival is putting alot of money there. The tour of the Domenican Republic was better. Alot more to see and Puerto Plato was nice. Carnival's island, Half Moon Cay was beautiful. The outdoor meal was very good.Happy

Overall by granny61271

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We are very easy to please, we didn't feel the money for the cheers package was worth it as the drinks seemed mostly juices other than the alchemy bar, the shows were just ok, the food good, we like our room cleaned 2x a day, now we are offered once a day, even though they did the 2x a day when ask.   The ship is dated, I know it's going into dry dock soon, I will look forward to seeing it then. The inside cabin seemed smaller than most

Conquest experience by res

This was my chance to get some much needed rest, and spend quality time with my daughter, just what we both needed. We really liked the beach excursions on all three islands.

My Cruise by laddypeck

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I really liked the stops the ship made. Our cabin was fine. I didn't care for the scrambled eggs and the bacon was undercooked and the quality of the sausage was not good. It tasted like it was microwaved. I would suggest better selection of desserts as well. Simple things like cherry and apple pie and chocolate cake. The layout on Norwegian cruise line with their buffet is much easier to navigate and quality of food is much better. The staff was fine.

Wonderful Cruise by jenn28msu

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The staff on the Conquest were outstanding.  Almost everyone was smiling, helpful, and polite.  The food in the main dining room was absolutely wonderful!  We enjoyed it very much.  On elegant night, the head of waiters pulled my husband and I into the kitchen for a private tour and menu sampling with the chef.  We were totally blown away!

The shows were great, we loved the rock show, the 80's show, and Flick.  The performers are talented.  Our balcony room was kept neat and tidy by Casy our room steward.

My only complaint was with the Snorkel by Boat excursion on Half Moon Cay.  We got a full refund but the sea was too choppy and we ended up going out on the snorkel boat anyway without going in the water (just getting seasick).  We had such a great time, and it won't be our last time with Carnival.

great time had all of us! by mrkeypro

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

my family and I had wonderful time on this cruise.  I hated to leave!  the ship facilities were clean and efficient.  the food was good to very good. the service was excellent, they all tried very hard .  in fact, all of the ship's crew were helpful and nice.  the ports of call were interesting and a lot fun.  we wished the port stops were longer.  5 hours at grand turk was not long enough. the weather, which cannot be reviewed, was ok, but the there was plenty to do and (and not to do :).  two  minor complaints would be lunch was ok, food was plentiful but spread out around the middle part of the ship.  by the time I got what I wanted, found a seat, and a drink, the food was luke warm, not hot and average tasting.  they should have a sit down lunch available because the breakfast and dinner were excellent.  the other minor complaint would be not to allow children under 10 in the hot tub.  several 3-6 year olds were in them on a constant basis and doing laps in the hot tub, cute but annoying after a while, not mention the peeing possibility.  there are 3 decent size pools besides the 3 or 4 hot tubs.  the shows at night were fun and entertaining . the movies on deck were also fun and unique to watch a movie outdoors.  I brought my 2 kids 13 and17, did not allow them to have wi-fi and they still had a really good time!  we spent a lot of time together and that alone was worth the trip!

Very enjoyable cruise. by AlexBo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Great food and steward service, and the bands and shows were very good.  Especially enjoyed the string trio and the magician (Bob Borgia).  The singers were all very good and on key.  My only complaint is that this ship currently does not have an Over-21 Serenity Deck.  (It will be re-installed in September 2017 during shipyard refurbishment). The Cruise Director (Chloe) was very upbeat, and mingled with the guests. This was a big improvement over my last cruise on the Carnival Pride.  Much, much, better.  Good trivia location, smoke-free.

Cruise reviews by lbyrdal1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We have been on many Carnival cruises and love it. The service from our steward and all the staff was excellent. I feel the entertainment wasnt like most other cruises, which had like Vegas style entertainment. Jonathan at the piano bar was awesome, loved his singing and piana playing. Christian the bar waiter was so friendly and dud his job outstanding..

I was disappointed that we couldn't  get the discounted daily rate for drinks for my husband. I told them  don't drink and they said I would still be charged for me because I was sharing the room. I think 110.00 a day is outrageous for two of us and I don't drink. Other tnan that I enjoyed the cruise.

Disappointed in the ship. by swirsky644

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

I have been on many Carnival ships and found this one in bad need of refurbishing. In cabin 8308 the ceiling was either burnt or a flood from the deck above. The toilet paper in the cabin was single ply and could almost see thru it.

The did not have the Las Vegas type show. The only entertainment was comedians. Drinks got very expensive and as a Platnium card holder was disappointed in their gifts. The gave us a free drink but could only be used in the 1 dining room for breakfast or lunch.

The islands were great and the staff was great.

Carnival is starting to nickel and dime you. Excursions way to pricey.

Carnival Conquest April 15,2016 by jeffreycjohnson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The favorite parts of the cruise were the ports we visited...Aruba, Curaseo, Dominican and Grand Turks.

The disapointing part of our cruise were the meals. Every served meal was cold. Even the lobster was still "jelly-like".

Our best meal we had was off the ship when we were inAruba.
