Review summary

I have been on many Carnival ships and found this one in bad need of refurbishing. In cabin 8308 the ceiling was either burnt or a flood from the deck above. The toilet paper in the cabin was single ply and could almost see thru it.

The did not have the Las Vegas type show. The only entertainment was comedians. Drinks got very expensive and as a Platnium card holder was disappointed in their gifts. The gave us a free drink but could only be used in the 1 dining room for breakfast or lunch.

The islands were great and the staff was great.

Carnival is starting to nickel and dime you. Excursions way to pricey.

Carnival is nickel and diming? With everything you get for the price how can anyone complain? Try a different cruise line or better yet, stay home.

We were just on the Conquest and had Vegas type shows. Really enjoyed them. Had a great time too! Toilet paper did what it was suppose to as well. No problem.

Quick thoughts...did you ask anyone about the stain? single ply flushes and decomposes better. Tip: use a little more. Did you want Vegas? I'm sorry...you said you were on a cruise. I'm also guessing you don't have a sense of humour. And no Cheers pkg? No wonder you had no fun. Worried about the price of a couple of drinks. What makes you think that you would get free or discounted drinks ON TOP of all of other perks of being platinum?? Being a platinum cruiser, you really should have known what the perks of the program are. If you don't like Carnival, STAY THE HECK OFF THEIR SHIPS! Believe me, you'll be doing the rest of us a favour! Here's a tip for excursions...book in advance for best selection! Or hey, do some research and find a cheaper excursion provider. You're making things worse for yourself with all of your whining.

I also have been on many carnival cruises and I believe the toilet paper has always been 1 ply. Such an easy thing to bring from home if you would rather. And also... We used our drink coupons at red frog on Lido with no problems.

Agree with the need for ship refurbishment. However, there were two Vegas-style shows, "Rock and Roll: and "Flicks". They also had Marcus Anthony (Motown) and the magician Bob Borgia in the main auditorium.
