Terrible. Worst cruise I been on. Expected more from Carnival, but was total dissapointment.
Embarkation

Easy to get inside the waiting room, but the long wait was annoying. Our time to get on was 10.00-10.30am and we got on past 11.00am. And we were the first there in line in the morning at 8.30am. So almost 3 hours later we step a foot on the ship.

Food and Dining

Food was nothing wauw. Everyday same breakfast. Nothing new. Lunch and dinner was not much interesting. Taste of the food was weird sometimes. Fruits always same. Oranges taste weird and grapefruit eww. Deserts too simple. Sushi was not yummy. Pizza too long waiting. Burger was good. Tacos eww.
Onboard Activities

Not enough activities in my opinion and entertainment was not convincing. Bingo is a joke. Pay $48 for package and win $150. Really? Pools are too small for almost 3000 guests. Not even movies everyday attracted the guests. New years celebration was boring. I expected more. Music started at 11.30pm like really? Countdown was gone before midnight. Total flop.

Only the DJ was kind of fun. The latin music in the casino and people dancing was also nice. Other than that what else? Not much.
Service and Staff

Our stateroom attendant was OK. Helpfull and nice. But not all the employees around were nice. Some were rude when you ask something as a first time carnival cruiser. The omelet station employee seemed to be working annoyed always looking at the line of people waiting, shaking his head and like mad/serious face. Not friendly at all. Buffet employees were not really friendly either.
Ship Quality

Ship is a total mess. Old, stained, dirty. Bathrooms at buffet were ewww. Our room had a broken lamp. Our bathroom had old dirty lamps. All windows around dirty. Not well maintained at all. Ewww.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were 3 people. A couple and a granny (mom). We got 2 single beds put together and one single bed on top. How is my 75 yr old mom suposed to climb on a bed in the air. We ended up sleeping all 3 on the 2 single beds put together. Uncomfy and not suitable for us. We had 2 lamps, and one was broken. Our bathroom lights were old and dirty. Terrible
Oef fast and the best. We couldn't wait to get off that ship. Carnival never again. We will remain Loyal to Royal, where we feel like Royalty without a doubt.
Wow. Just wow! I can’t even begin to form any kind of comment other than wow! Perhaps reading the info provided at booking and prior to embarkation would be a good starting point?
I dont think I read a more petty review than yours in quite a while. It seemed every little thing made you mad, but the thing is, it's all on you for the most part. So you all three slept in one bed, because one of you was too proud to sleep on the upper berth......really! I'm just wondering during your cruise being angry about everything if you actually took a minute or two to enjoy the cruise that you paid good money for, cause it appears to me, you ruined that cruise, not Carnival.
We were on it in September been on carnival royal ships . Actually injoyed it fiid is better if you pay for the pay restaurants. Bingo was fun won 500 the crew was as u said not happy ho lucky but weren't rude by no means. Ship is older but nice. Started out packed on pool party labor day. But later was quite calm. Had lots of fun. Yes rooms in staterooms are two single beds thin matresses. Suites are better thicker mattresses.
Wow, didn’t you ask any questions when you were booking the cabin. Let them know the3rd person was 75 yrs old. That’s not their fault, it’s yours. We were on the Conquest in 2019 and loved it. Ship was best, especially the Sunflower Atrium and the food was delicious. Ports were fantastic.
