The overcrowded ship, poor food, underwhelming cleanliness of the ship was tolerable due to the great attitude and service of the workers .

The food was okay everywhere - nothing was really exceptional and some cases not good at all. Some of the food was stale ( we could smell/ taste it in the some of the baked goods). There was one food that was not really defrosted and warmed fully too - the food was cold / half frozen. The dessert options could be better. The pizza station always had a wait - even if there was no line . The Omelet station line was so slow - because only one of the burners was working. the liens were just slow everywhere - with not enough movement. The food was also not sprinkled throughout the ship - am used to pizza or small dessert shop somewhere in the middle of the ship so one does have to walk all the way to Lido for the even a snack. There were no other places really to sit down relax and snack.

The activities were ok . There was no rock climbing wall . I did not use the fitness center but the jogging track on the upper deck was very good for exercise.

Video arcade was a lot of fun but my kids did not go to Club Circle - it was boring for them.

The ship was not clean and well maintained. There was place where it was stinking really bad of urine. The windows were not clean - these are the restaurant windows and public place windows which should be clean from outside. The design of the ship itself was really inconvenient - we had to go up and down to get to the 3rd floor restaurant for dinner etc.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was good and clean - as expected. Nothing exceptional. It could be more noise proof.
Ship tip
The ship was very , very crowded - making it not the best experience for everyone on the ship. I heard other people say the same - it was difficult to find seating for events , long lines everywhere, slower service ... please do not fill the ships to the maximum to make your money. It makes it a terrible experience for the guests.
So you go on a holiday cruise and it's Carnivals fault that the ship is crowed.....okay got it. Holiday cruises are dome if the most popular of cruises. I've been on two with Princess and had a great time and although the ship was fully booked, it wasn't crowded.
