Overall a decent cruise for the money, daughter enjoyed guy's burgers twice and she enjoyed the shows. I liked the sauna and steam room. The poor setup of disembarkation by CARNIVAL was the most disappointment of the whole trip.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
It was much better than the disembarkation.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Overall it was good, it was great that the dining room requested my daughter order for the next days since she had a peanut allergy.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We did enjoy the first Bingo game and watched the Deal or No Deal but many of the customers were not happy with the cheesy prizes after paying so much for Deal or No Deal. Did not like there was little access tot he basketball court and mini golf for most of the passengers.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
My daughter enjoyed the shows, especially the 80s show since she is a millineal and listened to much of MTV in the 90s when she was a kid. I enjoyed the steam room and sauna and help with the locker issue.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Had no issues with the staff, was great that the restaurant staff put in extra effort.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Looks like our cabin windows have not been cleaned in a while and also upstairs. No issues with our room being clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Was nice size and had plenty of space for the two of us, but walls were thin and could hear the next cabin at times.
Ship tip
It is a 20 year old ship, my daughter had to cancel the wifi because it did not work. Don't take the Carnival bus to Fort Lauderdale airport, they want you off the boat at 9:30 am but then they hold you too long to catch their 9:30 am ONLY bus, all CARNIVAL FAULT. Still fighting to get our money for this back, they have a 2.5 star rating, should tell you everything.
Horrible, Carnival kept us on the boat longer than we were suppose to be there and missed the ONLY CARNIVAL BUS to Fort Lauderdale. They want you off the ship by 9:30 and the only bus is at 9:30 am but they don't let you off in time to get the bus? Still fighting to get our money back. VERY, VERY POOR PLANNING BY CARNIVAL. the Disembarkation has the LOWEST RATING or any Carnival Experience.
I was on the same cruise and disembarkation was fine except for one issue - people do NOT LISTEN to instructions! I used the Hub app to choose my time (self carry) and had zero issues. However people in line admitted they didn’t wait for their zone to be called and thought it was hilarious. No one else found it funny.
they constantly run the busses back and forth from the port to the airport. if debarking was held it was more than likely due to customs and the coast guard so carnival can't do anything about that.
