Review summary

I was excited to visit PR and DR for the first time. However I was quite disappointed in both ports of call. The excursion reps lost me and my girlfriend’s excursion passes and all of the transportation vendors inflated their prices. Onboard the ship, the entertainment was horrible and the comics were not funny at all.

When I was on the Conquest the only issue was a bad smell near the rear of the ship whoch was later determined was sewage fromsomething backed up. It was repaired and all was good from that point on. Loved sailing her. The shows were good. Lots of lights and special effects. Bands on deck 5 were excellent.

We were on the Conquest in March and it’s one of our favorite ships now. The only thing we giddy care for were the shows and game shows we saw, but that’s not why we cruise. The food in MDR was absolutely delicious every night and we had breakfast there every morning also. Ship had beautiful decor. Loved our cabin and balcony. Air and plumbing worked great. Our ports were fantastic. No excursions. Just a great time at each port. Would definitely go on the Conquest again!
