MY EXPERIENCES W/ GUEST SERVICES PRIOR TO SAILING& MAITRE D WHO WAS LESS THAN ACCOMODATING IN HELPING ME BE WITH THE REST OF MY GROUP(25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY: KELLY`S) ..THE KELLY`S NOT BEING ABLE TO RENEW THEIR VOWS/HAVING TO SHARE THEIR COCKTAIL HR WAS UNACCEPTABLE!!...THEY BOOKED 40 OF THEIR FAMILY& FRIENDS..THEY DESERVED BETTER..AS I SAID I`LL NEVER CRUISE W/ THIS LINE AGAIN..THE EXPERIENCE WAS NOT MEMORABLE IN A POSITIVE WAY

A GROUP OF US HAD A PRIVATE EXCURSION OF THE ISLAND W/ OUR DRIVER ERNESTO STANLEY..HE TOOK ALL OVER THE ISLAND INCLUDING WHERE THE LOCALS ARE...IT WAS FABULOUS!!

As a novice cruiser, many of your issues could have been solved by reading all of the posted information about the ship prior to embarkation day. Special events on board are usually scheduled and confirmed weeks ahead of sailing, and not all ships (any cruise line) can accommodate weddings, anniversaries, vow renewals, birthdays, etc. for a group. As to the dinner seating, the Maitre'D can only accommodate a certain number of guests at one table. Were you a solo guest who could not be with the group, or were others not at the tables with the Kellys? I am sorry one of your first 2 or 3 cruises left you unsatisfied, but according to your comments, you enjoyed much of the trip. For debarkation, guests are told several times in booking that they should not book an early flight as circumstances may delay debarkation. We were on a cruise 2 years ago where we could not get into port at 7am due to very dense fog. Debarkation was 2 hours late. Plan ahead!! As a Platinum Carnival cruiser, we have sailed on several lines and keep coming back to Carnival. Preparation for your next cruise could make smoother sailing.
I would venture to say the attitude you received from the crew was a direct result of the attitude you displayed to them. If I'm wrong,I apologize, but based on your review, I expect I'm corrrct
