Review summary

The safety training was awful. Hundreds of us piled up in a very cramped hallway. It was so hot I thought I was going to pass out. Training like that was a total waste of time. A video in my cabin would have been more beneficial. Or having smaller groups. You couldn’t even see the crew member demonstrations.

Good. Ship arrives really early and shops at port weren’t open yet. Did rum distillery tour (was called something flavors)

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Be prepared to get bombarded on island by people selling stuff, offering massages, or wanting money for something. It’s a bit much.

Belize City, Belize

Did Scuba on rendezvous cay. It was a long 45 min boat ride but the dive was beautiful. Pablo was excellent! More time is needed diving. I think in all it was only 30-45min of five time.

@cruiselayer can you really request written instructions? We go in 2 weeks and that is the only part of the cruise I don’t like

There's no reward for being on time for the outdoor muster drills. You wait in the heat for some pudding head to saunter up at the last minute.

If you don't go to muster , then just request the directions on paper , and your steward will bring it to you . And just stay in your room during the briefing . Also none of the rooms have any venting in the bathroom to speak of

Must be first cruise. The muster drill is usually horrible, but required for safety. At least they no longer make you wear your life preservers on most ships like they did several years ago.

They are mandatory and if they bother you do not cruise. You are on a ship and need to know its drill and muster stations.
