Review summary

Going through this experience together with my family. I couldn't stress enough how lovely the cruise experience with Carnival is. If I really had the money to do it again, I would be there again now. Go Carnival! Thank you and your staff for a job well done. Until next time, keep on cruisin'

A little too long but overall excellent

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffets could use some other Salt free foods since I couldn't consume any salt but it was amazing that the Guy Fieri's burger station was able to grill a few burgers with no salt. AAA+, the specialty evening dining was amazing and our wait staff, Charina, Silvino and Deni at the Monet were amazing and beyond curteous and professional. If I could say anymore about the trio we had is that they deserve our utmost respect an Carnival should look into promoting them or compensating them accordingly based on their amazing level of service. Thank you and wish you great success Charina, Silvino and Deni, you have exceeded our expectations.

Monet Restaurant

The Monet is only as good as its staff. Charina, Silvino and Deni...Cheers!

Onboard Activities

My family and I loved the mini golf area.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Amazing! Mat the cruise director ( graciously pleasant and professional), We can't stress enough about Mat and his level of entertainment that made my family welcome. Dj Rayhon and Hayes were amazing. One other performer We couldn't forget is the comedian / magician Kalai...he made it personal to come out to our dining area almost every night and stopped by my table to say hello to my wife and kids. Loved it!

Children's Programs

Didn't have any kid activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Well our steward Renol and his assistant Saytia were incredible, they deserve everything coming to them. Curteous and professional. The games and the staff which we didn't have all their names saved, but were amazing such as the 80's trivia and the bingo guy were great. Adelle selling the tickets, were also friendly and exciting to talk to. The lights, camera interaction with Mat and his crew were amazing and funny.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean. Very surprised in a ship that big. Great job Carnival

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cleanliness and comfort were good. The only issue is not enough electrical outlets since my wife and I both have C-pap machines and didn't have outlets on both sides of the bed and the lamps were directly in the middle of the end table fixed and not enough room to put our machines on them.

Ship tip

When they say just ask, they mean it. Everyone is helpful and everyone is amazing.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
Miami port is good except some of the workers outside handling the lugguage, they were rude and directlty asked for a tip to handle bags. Even though we tip any way, it just seemed as if he didn't want to help unless given a tip.

Grand Turk Island

Too busy and too much walking.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Oh wow is this place amazing. Truly my favorite place and Magans beach is heaven on earth

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Very nice, but I was expecting Spanish or Latin music, not Cyndi Lauper or Madonna.

Disembarkation
