We had a wonderful time creating family memories. I travel a lot, this was my first cruise and I will definitely cruise in the future. Most likely try another cruise line.

This got a 4 star due to the safety session. What a waste of time. We stood their fir 45 minutes. Never heard one thing ( if they even announced any safety procedures). This was horrible, if your going Tom require this at least provide emergency details that can be seen or heard.

Food was excellent (table 321 your time dining) Joseph and His team were amazing. I would return to Carnival just for their service. Drinks: Bottomless bubbles was a waste of money, should never have bought fir my grandchildren as is terrible service trying to get them a soda at a bar. There should be a beverage station available or have a machine available where they can swipe their card to get a drink. A child should not have to wait in line at a bar to get a soda. It doesn’t Helton tgatctge var staff is not very happy to serve a child a soda either. Would not purchase if we cruise Carnival in the future.
Onboard Activities

Leigh is an asset to Carnival. He does an outstanding job with activities and providing details. Excellent Cruise Director, Carnival should do their best to keep him employed as this ship would go downhill without him.
The Fun Shops

Had to stand in customer service line for an hour as only half my stuff was delivered to our two cabins. Would NOT per- order items in the future.

Your time dining and steakhouse are 5 star. Bar service I gave a 3 not sure they deserve that. ( this coming from a 15 year veteran of a very large, tourist town resort bar manager). Horrible service, never once did I have a bartender service me that looked like they even wanted to be there or greet you with a smile.
Ship Quality

Room light switch did not work until the 4th day when maintenance arrived to fix. I was surprised at the lack of trash cans around the whole ship especially as there were never any staff around to clean. Regarding the layout,I know the reason for the Casino in the middle of the ship is to make $$$ but some people do not want to walk or walk children through all the smoke. Casino should be located where all guests do not have to be exposed to the smoke to get around the ship.

Ship tip
Do not but from Fun Shop ( had to wait an hour in line at customer service as half my order was not delivered). Do not but Bottinkess bubbles, understaffed bars, wheee children have to go for drinks ( this is horrible). Check your sail and sign card often. More than once items were put on the wrong persons card. Does carnival realize it’s illegal to charge someone’s credit card without authorization. More than once items were put on my sisters account when she was not even present with her card number. Very careless staff to put stuff in anyone’s card in the same room. Additional item was also added, then removed when I asked for a copy of receipt. How many people do not catch that stuff.
Very well done. My only comment would be to remove cement blocks buried under the sand between beach and sidewalk to prevent people from tripping on them ( as I did and cut my knees) my son later did the same scrapping his toes. They get buried in the sand as you leave the sidewalk. This is very dangerous. “Accident prevention “
We've been on 8 cruises and loved them all. We will be trying Carnival for the first time in March on the Conquest. As long as the food is really good in Main Dining Room, I'll be happy. As far as casinos go, I don't tnink you'll ever find a ship that you don't have to walk thru the casino to get somewhere. Nobody likes that except the smokers who shouldn't be smoking!
