Review summary

We had an open mind after reading reviews that the food was not that good. We found restaurants that we really enjoyed. Thought that the entertainment in the theaters were not that good. We really enjoyed the piano bar and the trivia games.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
By the time we boarded the ship we were hungry and headed to the BlueIguana Burrito/Taco station. It was exactly what we needed. The ship was already buzzing and kids were sliding on the water slide.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Appetizers in main dining room were good, main entree was okay. Desserts (chocolate melting cake) was good, get double ice cream. Our main waiter Lukman was fantastic! Guys Burger Joint was great, favorite place by the guys in family. PIzza 24 hours was always a hit. Deli was also very good. Breakfast in the main dining room was very good.

BlueIguana Cantina

For lunch it was great, and you pick your own toppings

Pizza Pirate

sometimes it was burnt, but a good quick snack and they were pretty quick when everything else was already closed

The Carnival Deli

5 out of 5

very good and fast service

Guy's Burger Joint

Favorite of Family

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Played putt putt when we first got there and it was good. The serenity adult area is nice but sometimes crowded. The Fitness center is really good as it is in the front of the ship. Trivia games were good.

Tahiti Casino

1 out of 5

too smoky, and in the middle of the ship

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Stage Shows were not that great, they had Flick and it was okay. Love & Marriage hosted by Chloe, the cruise director was very funny. Lip Sync Battle was not that good. DJ Grinzz was hilarious and he really knows how to work a crowd. He was great at all venues whether trivia or anything else. Piano bar was really fun and went last night and wish we went earlier and more often during the week.

Degas Aft Lounge

2 out of 5

The two comedians were not that good, Bob Biggerstaff and Kim Harrison. When Bob had his PG night he was actually funny but the other 3 performances were rated R and they were crude and not funny.,\

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Worked really hard and were always bussing tables and cleaning everywhere.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was really clean. Casino should be in the back by itself and non smoking.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our steward Sammy was awesome and we loved the towel animals. He did a great job.

Ship tip

Have an optimistic viewpoint and enjoy not having to clean or cook. The restaurants were a bit chilly and the ship was more rocky than people told me.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Damajagua Falls excursion was awesome!

Disembarkation
