Review summary

We hand good family time, weather and water was great. Shows, meals and food was good and can't wait to get back out again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had pre-registered so embarkation went very smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food for dining rooms was very good and buffets were as expected.

Monet Restaurant

5 out of 5

Food was good but our waiter was the best and made our dinner better. Seemed like the ship was using less staff to wait tables which slowed down service but our waiter did a great job of making the experience great.

Guy's Burger Joint

5 out of 5

I would recommend to eat there, burgers are as advertised very good.

Alfred's Bar

5 out of 5

Staff were very attentive, would remember our names and always happy.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did all activities, biggest problem was lack of staff to ensure equipment was available such as no golf balls to play putt-putt golf.

Entertainment

Children's Programs

Video Arcade

5 out of 5

Our son had a great time going in there when he was tired of playing in pool and we went in a few times and played games with him and enjoyed them.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Waiters and room stewards were wonderful. Seemed they had more staff monitoring pool areas which was great. The problem was people laying out towels on lounge chairs for hours and never being there. The Vista had set time and if no one showed up the towel would be pulled to allow others to utilize the chairs.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I know pictures are important but would be nice if an aisle was maintained to allow walking through the area.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was very comfortable, beautiful view. Staff did excellent job to keep clean. Of course, limited to one outlet to charge anything so we had to keep up with our phone charging.

Ship tip

Learn lay out of ship quickly or you will get lost and frustrated. Elevator area will give you a map on the wall to help with your directions. Also, always remember your on vacation so relax and enjoy.

Ports of call

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
We had excursion to Coconut Beach which was very nice. The bus drive was a little rough and long but overall was good.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
We got off boat to walk and do some shopping, unless you take a taxi there are very few shops near by to visit and shop.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
We went walking and shopping and had great time. Plenty to see and shops are very nice, people are very layed back and friendly.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
We had a snorkeling excursion that was very good, wish it could've started earlier so that we would have time to shop afterwards. Our ship didn't port at main terminal so distance to shop was a problem plus having to disembark early made it impossible to shop.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Would have a little easier if people taking their own suitcases had separate line than ones who had bags taken off night before. We were lucky to make our flight due to that delay but overall was good.
