We got off our firtst cruise, a porter came up asked us if we would like some help YES PLEASE. Most passengers were sayinh no, but for a tip of a dollar a bag, he grabbed our luggage bypassed the lines to his own customs area and hailed us a taxi 15 mins tops. We gave him $10 for 5 bags my hubby was releaved he didn't have lug it all the cruise tired him out from all of the fun and food we had on the ship.

Carnival has no control once you are off the ship. They do have porters all over to help you, just pay a fee.
