Review summary
This was our first cruise. Overall it was great! The ship seems a little old, which you can tell if you look around with a closer eye. Cleaning staff is super friendly and make an effort to know you by name. Every time we saw IMADE he greeted us by our names and was always asking if everything was to our liking. Waiting staff in the restaurants are a little pushy. I understand that they need to service several people as quickly and efficiently as possible, but allowing those who chose the "your time dining" want to enjoy their dining experience instead of feeling rushed out. Our room was comfortable and always clean! We loved the towel animals that were put out daily. Decor was a little expired and the coral color along the ceiling was hard on the eyes but it was still cozy. We'll be booking with Carnival again but probably not the Conquest.

Ship tip
Ask questions, even if it sounds stupid! We could have avoided stress our first night if we had simply asked someone how the "your time dining" option worked. Instead we were at the wrong restaurant, then on the wrong floor, then had to wait as so many people were already seated.
