Review summary

Pros:

lots to do, lots to eat, or just relax and do nothing

variety of shore excusions

Cons:

not all-inclusive... additional costs add up

noise from engines/propellers

overpriced excursions...  you pack 15-20 people into a mini-bus at $50+ for what amounts to a very expensive "1.5hr cab ride"

Suggestions:

could do a better job of identifying whats not included

provide menu in advance so we know what's free and what comes with a cost

flag rooms that have potential high levels of noise

discount package pricing for excusions... priced for 1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-9, 10+

go early and plan time if you want to do multiple things... the beach was great... the bus tour was OK... not much time for leisure walking around if you do a tour and want beach time

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

3 out of 5
not much to do unless you book a tour... nothing to do on your own besides the beach, everything elase was specific to tours

Grand Turk Island

At least your room wasn't near the leaking thermo nuclear reactor. The radiation exposure would have been bad for you.

What do you mean, propeller noise? We're was your cabin? Also, carnival don't do all inclusive cruise,,, not many cruise lines do. There are a few who do but you pay dearly for them.

He did give the boat four stars. I think a lot of us would agree that many (all) cruise line excursions are over priced and, if there are negative reviews, they don't seem to last long.

Their website tells you exactly what is and isn't included. Just do a little research. Book excursions through an independent company. MUCH cheaper and better quality. Not nearly as crowded on the transportation.

This information is right on the websites. Tells directly what is and is not included. Another resource is asking whomever you booked with. Always be your own advocate. Most all.excursions are over priced. Thats another money maker. However, its vacation, expect to spend. Next time try cruisecritic.com. lots of information to answer all your questions
