Review summary
Our family of 4 just returned and had a fun time. Although Port Everglades is a horrible, disorganized port, this wasn't Carnivals fault. The ship was fine and very clean. We stayed on deck 1 Riviera mid ship and enjoyed a very quiet room with minimal rocking. Our cabin was clean well maintained and had room for 4 of us with bunks and a king bed. It was so convenient to everything on ship. Staff was very pleasant and tried hard to please. Shows were good but music in public areas was nothing special except for Dolce Trio, 3 women who played violins and cello, they were excellent. We liked all of the ports very much and there was something to do for everyone. We booked our own excursions or just explored on our own, very easy to do. Our only complaint was the food selection and quality and service in the main dining room. Our servers were not as good as on previous carnival cruises and were difficult to understand. Service was ok and some nights food arrived cold. However you won't go hungry as the pizza place, Guys Burgers and Blue Iguana all serviced delicious food. Icecream machine was great too. Overall another very good cruise. This isn't 5 star but you aren't paying 5 star prices either and get a lot of quality for the money spent.

Ship tip
All carnival ships have same layout so once you are familiar with it you know your way around. If laying by main pool with thousands of people isn't your thing, go to ends of ship on higher levels to find a quiet place to relax. We did each day
