Review summary
I'll try and just give highlights. The port at Fort Lauderdale is the worst I've ever been to. Completely disorganized. Long lines and not practical for elderly or disabled. Once on the ship everything was smooth and enjoyable. Cruise director Wee Jimmy gets a 10. He's amazing! Lots of entertainment all day. Food is amazing consistently. Our room was nice and spacious. We had an ocean view room with king size bed and bunk beds for our two kids. Every port was amazing. I especially loved Curaçao. Make sure you hire Ida to be your tour guide. She gave us a six hour tour and it was great. Also I was pleasantly surprised by a shore excursion offered by carnival once we got off the ship in Aruba. It's the beach express tour. You get a 20 min tour on an open air bus and it's a great party atmosphere on the bus. It took us to Palm beach and we stayed for almost 4 hours. The best part?? It's only 19.99 per person. The ship needs some decor updates but I can't complain. We had a really good time. T
