Review summary
This was our 14th cruise on Carnival and it was rather disappointing. The dining room service was not good. We were often the last table to be served, making us late for the theater show. The shows were bizarre to say the least. Instead of the wonderful dancing shows, we were "treated" to animation with live people who really didn't do much of anything on stage. We only attended one show. The live tropical music that used to welcome us has been replaced by a disc jockey playing music I can hear at home. A first or second time cruiser might not miss some of these things but Carnival has changed and not for the better, in my opinion. Since we have reached Platinum Status we will continue to cruise on Carnival, I only hope the next one is better.

Ship tip
The ship was fine. We had a balcony room and loved it. Our room steward, Augus was very good.
