A Fair Cruise

Sail Date: October 09, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship did not have very many places where passengers could sit and see the scenery the hand rails while keeping you safe blocked your view especially if you were confined to a wheel chair.

Why did the designers place the restaurants on the stern of the ship? The natural movement of a ship is magnified at the stern!!!!!! Our cruise : the ships stewards had to place "sick Bags" at the doors of the restaurant due to the vast numbers of sea sick passengers!
when problems were brought to the ships crew the "pat answer was that
{ next year it will be ready} "

Pros: New locations , The shows were a better quality, Handicap rooms were adaquite

Cons: The cruise directors did not seem to know what rhey were doing, losts of missing information given to passengers.. especially first time travelers

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.

Food and Dining
The placement of handicap passengers at dinner time seams to be inconsiderate at best!!! most of us prefer to be able to sit and talk with others not to be placed in a corner of a room. we even requested a different dinning time to allow a new location. WE were placed again in a hallway...
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Ship Quality
The ship size was great the placement of the restaurant were not..

the ship had an out door theater which was outstanding....
George Town, Grand Cayman
I used a different tour company
Cozumel, Mexico
Montego Bay, Jamaica
THIS RATTING IS DUE TO I had to arrange our tour!!!!!!! the ticket I purchased from YOU ( CHEEP TICKETS) were useless no one at montego bay knew anything about your company!!!!!! I gathered another couple and created a tour ! the port is great your service is sub standard!
