Review summary

I truly enjoyed my cruise. The ship (Carnival Conquest) was absolulety a wonderful ship. The layout was great and it was easy to find most of the places I wanted to find. Our cabin was much larger than I had imagined, it was wonderfully kept clean by the cabin steward and the storage areas was extremely nice. The only drawback was there was no where to keep the luggage except under the bed. I had thought that our empty luggage would be stored for us but this was a very minor inconvenience. The resturants were all very good, the dining was superb and the buffet was great. We enjoyed the shows, they were very well produced and very entertaining! Our overall impression was great.

Food and Dining

Coffee could have been much stronger...some days it was little better than tepid water. All other food was great to excellant.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

Very clean accomodating port of call. We enjoyed the port, the shopping, the great customer service and the feel good feeling we came away with at this port. The ONLY drawback we have is that the excursion that we took was nothing better than the taking of our hard earned money. The excusion was to Stringray Island. We left at 1PM vice 12:15. It took 35 minutes to get to the boat to take us out because of traffic. It took 30 minutes to get us to the Stringrays only to sit and wait our turn to get into position for another 15 minutes. We actually only had about 15 minutes in the water and THEN ONLY SAW 3 STRINGRAYS!!!! Waste of time and money!

Cozumel, Mexico

Great shopping, nice beaches, horrible traffic!! We enjoyed eating at Pancho's Backdoor!

Montego Bay, Jamaica

This was an extremely disappointing port of call. The stores were little better than the dollar stores in the states. The beggars, the barb wire fencing, the unsafe feeling that I got from walking around the shopping area put a real damper on this port of call. We went back to the ship after only an hour of shopping and seeing the port.
Don't Miss: There was NOT a "don't miss" at this port.

Pros: The crew, the shows, and the activities.

Cons: The expensive drinks, the sales pitches.
