I like espresso coffee so I would go to bar 820 on deck eight. They have Cuban coffees and Italian coffees the line is not as long as Java blue. Also get to center stage for shows at least 30 to 45 minutes in advance for good seating

If you chooce anytime dining-you have to check into the restaurants via your cell phone. If you truly want to disconnect from Technology on your vacation you can't.

Make sure to eat in the main dining room and get to the shows early to get good seats. To many new cruisers don't get to the shows and are missing out on such quality live performances.

Look at the deck plans in advance and figure out where everything is. This ship is not laid out like the other ships.

Lower your expectations. One major plus in the design is the casino is glassed enclosed so the noise and odor of smoke does not travel through the ship as badly as other designs.

We did not book a single excursion through carnival for the first time for this trip, we had a blast still! If you received the offer “drinks available for you anywhere on the ship” do not buy the drink package for the other person in your cabin. You can buy it on ship at the bar. Hide ducks, it makes it a good bonding experience for your party and the people finding them!
