Review summary

Overall the first cruise on the Celebration was a great experience to bring her home to Miami. The ship needs some tweaking here and there. Not all elevators are in service. Central stage needs a little redesign to accommodate more seating and improve sight lines.

The main restaurant was ok, nothing to brag about, our service was slow most likely due to new crew working together for the first time. Other tables with a more experienced wait staff were in and out much faster. Lido Deck dining left much to be desired post Covid. Knowing that the food served up here is the surplus food from other restaurants: they failed to at least coordinate their main entre with a potato and vegetable to make a complete meal.

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

Had dinner at the steakhouse. Found the overall experience very pleasing. Service and food were very good on a night when their was not an empty table to be seen.

The ship was well designed, had 4516 passengers on board and never felt crowded

Cabin / Stateroom

Being the first persons to use the cabin everything was in perfect condition. Air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room comfortable in the warm afternoon sunshine. Shower was a good size and plenty of hot water

Ship tip

Go with my time dining; unless you are dead set on eating in your assigned dining room every night. In order to book any of the other three dining locations you can not make a reservation until after 7:30pm. Some walk up available but limited availability

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Oftentimes the inaugural sailing will have a few “kinks” to work out. Glad you enjoyed being the first person in that cabin!
